What a night!

My parents are out of town. They left Friday morning to go to Oklahoma to be with my Grandma who just had a masectomy due to breast cancer in her left breast. My brother who is 17 stayed here and was on his way home Friday night at 11:30 and swirved to miss an animal and lost control of his car just 50 yards from the driveway. He got out and ran barefoot through the pasture to the house to call my mom. Needless to say, he was scared to death. I went to check him out and be with him and ended up staying with him that night. His leg was bleeding from a scrape from some barbwire and he had headache but he or I thought he needed to go to the er. I did take him to the er yesterday after being advised to do so from the doctor. His leg is hurting him to walk on it and he ended up having a concusion. I think that is awesome for having been through an accident like that. The car used to be an Explorer! He flipped it several times and it looks to have been airborne for several yards too. The dps and some neighbors are giving him a hard time trying to say he was speeding (like they never have) but he swears he was getting ready to pull in the driveway and wasn't going fast at all. He says he remembers taking his seatbelt off and when he looked back up something ran out in front of him and after that the next thing he remembers is running through the pasture. I am just so thankful he is alive and well! I don't care if he was speeding or not!
